Let's face it the last three years have challenged the devotion of every loyal Leaf fan out there. With two years of missing the playoffs and a third soon to come, change was bound to come. That change came this morning and John Ferguson Jr. was fired as General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Cliff Fletcher, the man who led the Leafs to back to back appearances in the conference final in 1993 and 94, will serve as interim GM and will be given the task of cleaning up this mess.

The Beginning - Fletcher's in; Ferguson's out
